Yes, you can purchase an alteration consultation before or after purchasing your dress. Either option works well.

After reading your “Alteration Quiz”, Sue records a personalized video just for you to watch/replay prior to your fitting at a local seamstress in your city and state. The photos you submit will be used in the video to teach!
You will feel like we are together in person by the way we walk through your wedding dress on video, quote price ranges, ideas you haven’t considered, use creativity + address the concerns you mentioned in the quiz.
The service will teach the bride:
1. How to interview a seamstress by understanding the process/speaking with confidence.
2. How alteration pricing works/negotiating.
3. Save time off work needing less fittings. You now know what you are looking for, what to ask for, what samples to try on, etc.
4. Learn insider information at warp speed that you would gain if you had bridal sewing experience or worked in a bridal alterations business in regards to the dress we are reviewing in the video – your wedding dress!
*** If you are creating a custom dress or making custom changes to your wedding dress (adding sleeves, neckline changes, pattern changes, etc), you will need more time and resources in package 2 or 3.

The upgraded package is a great fit for brides who appreciate a quick phone call to connect the dots in the style quiz (optional) as well as the following:
1. Samples – additional videos using our samples to teach how custom changes work/what you need for your wedding dress.
2. Fabric – we will review fabrics that pertain to your wedding dress as needed in a pre-recorded video.
3. Yardage – we will teach you how to measure for appliques needed, estimating fabric, and other ordering questions.
4. Patterns – we sell our patterns, fabrics and other helpful designer level materials we can ship directly to your home.
