We are now in September! 2019 is flying by like a limo on the way to a wedding! Guess who is in that limo today? Soooo excited to be talking about Lauren Hall’s story!

Lauren came to us last year in 2018 and had nothing but great things to say about us, which Lauren if you are reading this, THANK YOU GORGEOUS! Right after she got engaged, she attended the Fort Worth Bridal Show and in her words was “flooded with information!”

She received an email from us the very next day for a VIP appointment and made Ava’s her first and last bridal shop to find her dress! We were able to help her find the PERFECT dress along with her PERFECT veil! I could go on and on about the process we had with her but we would be here for DAYS! Without further a do, here is here story….

Lauren Hall’s Story:

“DeShane and I like to think that we have a pretty special story. We “met” in Mrs. Wallace’s kindergarten class at J.B. Little Elementary. We continued to run in similar circles throughout high school until we both went to college. DeShane went to Duke in North Carolina and I went to Baylor in Waco, TX. Thankfully, we reconnected back at home the summer after sophomore year of college, when we met for what turned into a very long lunch. So funny how the Lord works people back into your life to play an even bigger role the second time around. The rest, as they say, is history!”

The Dress:

“I was so blessed to have my name drawn for a free VIP appointment at Ava’s. It was the first and last place I went to look for my wedding dress. I tried on a handful until I found a beautiful Casablanca gown with Chantilly lace and an amazing train. We ended up having the dress to be altered off the shoulder, which made it feel even more romantic. I loved being a bride at Ava’s. They were a true joy to work with throughout the entire process!”

Lauren Hall’s Wedding Day:

“DeShane and I got married on November 10, at a Walter’s Wedding Estates venue – Aristide in Mansfield, TX. Our wedding planner, Ambra with Query Events was incredible with our vision. Our colors were shades of lilac, purples, pinks, and navy with a lot of greenery. We wanted the reception inside to feel like an “indoor garden”. The day was so beautiful from start to finish – even the cold weather that came out of nowhere couldn’t put a damper on our amazing day. Music is really important to the both of us, so our beautiful ceremony music was played by a harpist and cellist friend of ours since elementary school. Some of the most special moments from the day were involving our families. I loved doing a first look with my dad and my brother before the ceremony, and receiving marriage advice from my grandparents, who have been married 63 years were two incredibly sweet moments.”

Lauren’s journey began with us by simply attending the Fort Worth Bridal Show, to receiving and email from us, to coming in and trying on the PERFECT dress with the PERFECT veil. Add a little magic from our Alteration’s Department and voila! She was ready for her big day!

We were so happy to have Lauren come into our bridal salon last year. To think, she was overwhelmed with information when she went to the bridal show. She didn’t have to choose us but she did and we are forever grateful for it. We wish endless happiness to Lauren and DeShane!
